How should I care for natural marble, travertine and granite ?

Because the marbles, travertine and granites used are all natural product, all colours and veins can vary from each slab. It is important to be careful and conscious when cleaning these surface. A warm damp cloth should be efficient enough for all regular cleans. Avoid leaving any spillage for a period of time to prevent penetration into the slab, if left over time this can cause staining.

Note, stains and chipping after purchase are considered general wear and tear.

How do I care for timber veneer ?

Most of our timber veneers are either pre finished or finished with a clear lacquer. As it is a natural product, they can slightly discolour over time from too much exposure to sun light. A gentle spray and wipe can be used to regularly clean any timber veneer surface, however avoid harsh cleaning product. Avoid putting hot products / objects directly onto the timber surface, and always clean any spillages as soon as possible with a lightly damp cloth to avoid any movement in the timber.

How do I care for glass products ?

Any glass cleaner is perfect for cleaning or wiping down any glass surface. Never use any type of steel cloth for cleaning as this can scratch the surface.

How do I care for polyurethane products ?

Our polyurethane products are all locally made and fabricated. The paint and coatings used are layered to create deep colours and can easily be wiped down with a lightly damp / soapy cloth. It is essential to avoid any harsh cleaning products or steel cleaning cloths to avoid scratching and chipping.

How do I care for laminate products ?

Our laminate products are all locally made and fabricated. Each laminate piece can easily be wiped down with a lightly damp / soapy cloth. It is essential to avoid any harsh cleaning products or steel cleaning cloths to avoid scratching and chipping.

Do you offer interstate deliveries ?

Noma Co can offer interstate delivery where possible. If you are an interstate customer, we will contact you directly upon purchase to arrange delivery via a trusted courier company.  If you have any queries regarding interstate delivery prior to purchase please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss further.

Do you have a showroom where I can view the collection ?

Noma Co does not have a showroom however if you keep an eye out on our social media pages, we are constantly featuring some of our pieces in the showrooms of local Canberra businesses. You can also view some pieces through other collaborations we may be doing at the time (open homes, interior design projects, ect).

Are the pieces solid marble ?

Most of our small marble designs are solid marble, and generally the larger marble designs and our timber pieces are mitred to create the desired thickness.

How heavy are the pieces ?

All pieces vary in weight due to materials and fabrication process. No matter the piece, we always recommend lifting or moving every piece with as much care possible, each one is fragile in their own way.

How long does it take for a custom piece to be made ?

The production time for any custom piece will vary depending on the detail involved and sourcing the desired material. During the early stages of this process, we always advise customers of an estimated production time of anywhere between 10 - 12 weeks, however we cannot guarantee any exact timeframes or dates until in production.

Where are the materials sourced from ?

Our materials are sourced from all over the world. Most of our natural marbles are sourced from stone quarries from Europe, to Asia while our timbers, laminates and other materials are mostly sourced locally or within Australia.
